3. Komatsu D575 A-2 Super Dozer
The largest bulldozer ever made in the world is the massive Komatsu D575 A-2 Super Dozer. It was made in 1996 and weighs a little over 150 tons (300,000 pounds). The machine is powered by a 1,1250 horsepower 12-cylinder diesel engine.
Komatsu also made the largest dump truck. The Komatsu 930E dump truck is capable of putting 310 tons in its bed. The truck itself is 24 feet high, 50 feet long, 27 feet wide, and weighs 410,000 pounds empty.
4. Tesla Pickup Towing Capacity
The upcoming massive electric vehicle, the Tesla pickup has a towing capacity of 150 tons, which is unheard of for pickup trucks, though feasible for Tesla.
Tesla’s Model X is an all-electric luxury SUV was found to be able to pull a 95,000 pound semi trailer on an icy road, was able to haul 250,000 pounds of dirt from a Boring Company tunnel, and was able to pull a Boeing 787-9 which weighs 297,000 pounds empty.
So it safe to say that the brand can pull and carry some heavy weights.
5. Vickers VC10
The maximum takeoff weight of the Vickers VC10 is 151 tons. The Vickers VC10 is a mid-sized, narrow-body long-range British jet airliner designed and built by Vickers-Armstrongs Aircraft.
It was first flown at Brooklands, Surrey in 1962. It was designed to operate on long-distance routes from shorter runways of the era and commanded excellent hot and high performance for operations from African airports.
For 41 years, it had achieved the fastest crossing of the Atlantic by a subsonic jet airliner of 5 hours and 1 minute.
In February 2020, the British Airways Boeing 747 broke that record at 4 hours and 56 minutes due to Storm Ciara.
6. Weight That an Airline Carries
