Additional Information Regarding Heavy SUVs

While trucks and vans give plenty of competition in the weight department, SUVs make up a pretty significant percentage of heavy vehicles on the market today. While their fuel efficiency may improve, they will always be big, heavy vehicles that are meant to carry a lot of people with a lot of comforts.

Even the heaviest SUV can’t measure up to the heaviest car ever built—the Mercedes Benz 770, which topped the scales at 10,538 pounds.  However, a Ford Ka weights less than 1800 pounds, so two of them would still be lighter than the lightest SUV on our list.

If you’re looking for the biggest, heaviest SUV on the market, the Chevrolet Suburban 3500HD might just be the one for you!
